Duc Tri shared his reason for choosing Hanoi, stating that his audience is mostly from Hanoi. Last year, when he had music shows in Da Lat, 70% of the audience came from Hanoi. The market previously opened up on the final day every month at a location in Laos, about 3km from the border. Since 2019, the market has been moved to Nam Can international border gate and is held regularly on Sundays. Many local specialties can be found on sale at the border market. Handicraft items created by both Vietnamese and Lao people are available for purchase at the market.
