Anti-radiation and anti-chemical poison mobile vehicles can be used as kitchens. Exhibition recalls 12-day-and-night memories of Dien Bien Phu in the air

Visitors have the chance to see photos and items which reflect the losses and sacrifices suffered by Vietnamese soldiers and civilians during the course of the battle to resist the US’ carpet bombing airstrikes. The “fiery day” section recalls the fighting spirit shown by both the Northern army and people in the last days of December, 1972, when the US imperialists sent B52 bombers to attack Hanoi. Meanwhile, the “behind the prison walls” section recalls the images of imprisoned American pilots at Hoa Lo Prison and their feelings as they look back on the war, life, and the Vietnamese people.
