“Crafting a Digital Future: Equipping Vietnam for the Transformational Journey”

Funded by Lenovo and implemented by Plan International in partnership with the Hanoi-based REACH Institute, the project offers a transformative education. This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the power of women’s empowerment and the impact it has on society as a whole. The following stories from Vietnam are a testament to that. As a trainee of the Empower Her Tech Program by the United Nations Development Program, she acquired website building and digital design skills, including the use of generative AI. These new skills will undoubtedly propel her business forward in the digital age. Mi, a survivor of human trafficking, has transformed her life with the support of the International Organization on Migration and the UK government, in collaboration with reintegration partners from the Vietnamese labor ministry.
