The highly anticipated annual sporting event is back and bigger than ever, with an exciting line-up of races and a record-breaking number of international participants. This year, the competition will offer a range of distances to cater to runners of all levels, including a full marathon (42km), a half marathon (21km), and a 5km race. There will also be two fun-filled Ronny Dash events for children, with distances of 500m and 1.5km. The Unstoppable Athlete: Vietnam’s 10km Wheelchair Warrior

Nguyen Quang Hung, a 36-year-old from Tay Ninh Province, became the embodiment of determination at the My Tho Sunset Run 2024. Despite being confined to a wheelchair, Hung embarked on a 10-kilometer journey, joining over 3,000 runners in a display of resilience and courage. The searing heat did not deter the runners, and among them, a man in a wheelchair stood out. Hung’s swift movement and sheer persistence during the race surprised many supporters and inspired those around him. Traveling from Tay Ninh to Tien Giang, a distance of 140 kilometers, Hung arrived early in the morning, eager to take part in the event. His story began when a high fever in his youth left him paralyzed, but this did not stop him from seeking improvement in his health. The Hanoi Heritage Marathon: An International Running Event to Remember

The Hanoi Heritage Marathon course is designed to meet global standards, offering four standardized distances (5km, 10km, half, and full marathon) certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. Runners will trace a path through Hanoi’s iconic landmarks, including Hoan Kiem Lake and the Hanoi Flag Tower, to name a few.
