“Write a Love Letter” – Creating a Network of Vietnamese Art Enthusiasts in the UK
The event was organized by the Vietnamese Student Association in the UK (SVUK) and the community of Vietnamese professionals in the UK (VietPro) to introduce Vietnamese artistic talents and build and develop a community of Vietnamese art lovers. It also helped promote Vietnamese culture and art to British and international friends.
Following the themes of Love, Gratitude, Connection, Home, Forgiveness, and Family, the music night includes 20 rich and unique performances performed by Vietnamese students studying at British universities and Vietnamese people living and working in the country.

With creative and elaborate staging, combining modern light and sound technology, the performances received a lot of praise from the audience. The program is the first collaboration between SVUK and VietPro, aiming to create a playground, and honor and promote artistic talents.
The event also creates cohesion for the Vietnamese community, while spreading the values and beauty of Vietnamese culture to British and international friends, with the participation of foreign students in the program.
Attending the event, Dao Thi Hong, First Secretary in charge of education, at the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK, appreciated the efforts of SVUK and VietPro in organizing a meaningful event and helping to connect the Vietnamese community.

SVUK represents more than 14,000 Vietnamese students living and working in the UK and is a bridge connecting 46 Vietnamese Student Associations (Vietsoc) from universities and colleges nationwide. Established in 2010, VietPro aims to connect networks of relationships and career opportunities while supporting Vietnamese professionals and students to build soft skills and integrate into the working environment in the UK and Vietnam. Since its establishment, VietPro has organized many professional events such as Prospect, SkillQuest, and VietPro Christmas Dinner, creating a foundation for building a network of learning and working relationships for the community of Vietnamese professionals and students in the UK. |
