Busan Theater Association is a unit with a long history of operations and many achievements in culture and art. Each year, the association organizes two festivals in June and October. Currently, there are 350 members. In addition to singing and dancing performances, there are also musical instrument performances.

At the meeting, Lee kindly invited the HCM City Theater Association to attend the cultural festival held in October this year in Busan.

Director Ton That Can, Standing Vice President of the HCM City Theater Association, gave an overview of the activities of the HCM City Theater Association, introducing his guests to the Small Theatre of HCM City, a socialization unit that has achieved many successes in the performing arts. He also mentioned the training Center that trains many students, and the HCM City Artists’ Friendship Board actively cares for single elderly and sickly artists, a unique model only found in Vietnam.

Members of the Busan Theater Association were surprised to learn that in HCM City, there is a nursing home for single elderly artists in poor health.

Lee said that this will be the first meeting, and in the future, there will be many meetings to further discuss the goals of exchange and performance activities between the two associations.

People’s Artist Tran Ngoc Giau, President of the HCM City Theater Association, hopes to have the opportunity to organize exchanges and performances with the Busan Theater Association. This will help tighten the cultural, artistic, and theatrical exchange relationship between the two associations, thereby creating high-quality cultural and artistic works to serve audiences in the two countries.
